Yahatahigashi Ward, Kitakyushu City, is one of the administrative districts that make up Kitakyushu City and is the most populous of the city's administrative districts. The area south of Kurosaki Station forms the western central city of Kitakyushu, and the area along the Dokai Bay coast forms part of the Kitakyushu Industrial Zone.
