Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City, is one of the administrative districts that make up Kitakyushu City, and is located at the northernmost tip of Kyushu. Historically, it flourished as a port city serving as a trade hub, and with the construction of the Kanmon Ferry and Kanmon Tunnel between it and Shimonoseki City, it also functions as a gateway to Kyushu.
