Legends surrounding the shrine's belief in safe childbirth remain, drawing worshippers from across Japan. Showa Forest, at the foot of Mt. Sangunyama, features a waterfall, and in autumn, the beautiful autumn foliage adds a touch of color, making it a spot where you can enjoy the rich natural scenery. Continuing along the hiking trail from Showa Forest, you'll come across Nanshogataki Falls. In winter, you can see giant icicles 20 meters high. Other notable sites include the Koshoji Tomb and the ruins of Ono Castle.
