Shingu Town in Kasuya County, adjacent to the eastern part of Fukuoka City, is known as an area of exceptional scenic beauty. The northwestern part faces the Genkai Sea, known as one of the world's leading fishing grounds, and the southeastern part is home to Mount Tachibana, blessed with abundant nature, creating beautiful scenery throughout the town. A famous tourist attraction is the Sennen-ya House, known as the oldest private house in Kyushu, which has been designated a national important cultural property.
