Sasaguri Town in Kasuya District is surrounded by Mt. Hokotate and Mt. Yagi, with the Tatara River flowing through the center of town. Approximately 70% of the town is covered by forest, making it a blessed natural environment. At the same time, located approximately 12 kilometers from Fukushima City, the town is also developing as a commuter town. A popular tourist spot is Sasaguri Kyudai Forest. Gotonotaki Falls is also known as a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing and autumn foliage viewing. Agriculture is also practiced within the town, with the cultivation of manju oranges (amanatsu).
