Kazamaura Village, Shimokita District, is located in the northern part of the Shimokita Peninsula in Aomori Prefecture. Most of the village is surrounded by the Osorezan mountain range, with settlements scattered across the remaining plains. The main settlements are Shimoburo, Ikukuni, and Hebiura. Shimoburo, in particular, has long been famous as a hot spring resort.
