Nakadomari Town, Kitatsugaru District, Aomori Prefecture, is located on the western side of the Tsugaru Mountains. Facing Tsugaru City and the Sea of Japan, most of the area is mountainous. Summers are mild and pleasant, but in May, the westerly winds can damage crops. In winter, there is a lot of snow, and blizzards can occur along with the seasonal winds. Nakadomari Town, Kitatsugaru District, is also home to Fudo Falls. This waterfall flows from the forest and has long been used as a training ground for monks. The coastline from the Kodomari Roadside Station is beautiful and has become a popular tourist spot. In addition to the scenery, the town is popular for its delicious seafood.
