Shichinohe Town, Kamikita District, is located in the eastern part of Aomori Prefecture, inland. It merged with Tenmabayashi Village, Kamikita District, in 2005. It borders Aomori City to the west, and the Michinoku Toll Road provides easy access to Aomori City. Other transportation options, such as expressways, make the town highly accessible. The town's climate is characterized by extreme temperature differences depending on the season. The beautiful blooming azaleas and ginkgo trees in the town have become the town's symbol. This region is blessed with a natural environment, allowing visitors to enjoy the changing scenery of the mountainous terrain throughout the year. Nabeko dango is a local dish.
