Shinmaiko Station is one of the stations on the Meitetsu Tokoname Line, located in Shinmaiko, Chita City. The station opened on February 18, 1912. A survey conducted in 2010 showed that the station had an average daily user count of approximately 5,000 people. There are many public institutions around the station, and the beach, Shinmaiko Marine Park, is just a five-minute walk away.
