Located between Nagoya and Toyota, Togo Town in Aichi County has seen strong demand as a commuter town for both cities, and residential development has been underway. As a result, the town's population has been growing rapidly since the 1960s. While farmland has decreased due to the development of residential areas and shopping centers, lush greenery and waterfront areas remain, providing a comfortable and livable living environment. The town's main industry is agriculture, with rice, Chinese cabbage, figs, melons, and more grown. One of the most popular tourist spots is the Nagoya Golf Club Wago Course, which opened in 1929 and is known as the first golf course in the Chukyo region. It is said to be one of Japan's most difficult courses.
