In pursuit of even greater seismic resistance, the walls are constructed using shear walls certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism with a strength 4.3 times greater than the already earthquake-resistant 2x4 construction. This achieves seismic performance that exceeds that of the 2x4 construction by approximately 40%. By increasing the wall volume from the conventional 3.0 times to 4.3 times, the strength is increased by more than 1.4 times. / Toshin Jyukken uses domestic lumber for some of its 2x4 panels. The 2x4 construction method, originally developed in North America, relies almost entirely on imported materials. However, Toshin Jyukken actively promotes the protection of Japan's forests by incorporating domestically sourced materials. / Toshin Jyukken has built its own panel factory in Inazawa City, where its headquarters are located. Under strict quality control, the company has established a system for the stable supply of high-quality panels. While traditional wooden frame construction was the norm in Japan, Toshin Jyukken has focused on 2x4 housing, known for its earthquake resistance, from the beginning, and has built approximately 24,000 homes to date. / All of Toshin Jyukken's homes use a proprietary slab foundation. Thick rebar runs vertically and horizontally throughout the entire building, and the entire floor is covered with 15cm of reinforced concrete, creating a robust foundation. By integrating and covering the entire subfloor, the entire house is firmly supported. We also install moisture-proof membranes throughout the entire foundation, blocking moisture from the ground and preventing termites from entering. | |||||
